Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel confident purchasing from the atelier. Because our pieces are made in small quantities and often produced to order, the policy depends on the type of item.

Ready-to-ship objects

Unused ready-to-ship objects may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition, with all packaging, accessories, documentation, and proof of purchase.

Made-to-order and customized pieces

Made-to-order, customized, signed, numbered, or specially finished pieces are final sale once production has started. Cancellation requests received before production begins may be reviewed individually.

Return shipping

Return shipping, insurance, and any related costs are the responsibility of the buyer, except when the item is defective or was damaged before delivery.

Damaged or defective items

If your order arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us as soon as possible with clear photographs of the package, shipping label, item, and damage. Keep the original packaging. We will review the claim and, when applicable, arrange repair, replacement, or a refund.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not refundable unless required by applicable law.

How to request a return

Before sending anything back, email us with your order number, photographs, and a short description of the request. Do not ship a return without receiving written instructions from us.
